TRAIN

電車[DENSHA]

Train is the most popular means of transportation in Japan. Trains in metropolitan areas are often jam-packed during the morning and evening rush hours. People travelling with a large suitcase, etc., need to be careful, as the station staff sometimes push passengers into overcrowded trains. Japanese trains are almost always on time; if not, they will apologize even for just a 2-minute delay. I personally feel they don’t have to. In fact, I overslept 30 minutes this morning. Such is life, isn’t it?
