BIRDWATCHING

野鳥観察[YACHŌ-KANSATSU]

A large number of wild birds, including migrating ones, fly over to Japan. There are many birdwatching spots across the country, from which swans, red-crowned cranes, and other rare wild birds can be observed, attracting lots of tourists. With a wish that my son will find interest in many things besides staring at a smartphone, I gave him a pair of binoculars as his birthday gift. He and I now go birdwatching on weekends. I wonder what kind of world he is seeing through his binoculars.
