TSŪTENKAKU TOWER

通天閣[TSŪTENKAKU]

A 108-meter-tall tower designed to resemble the Parisian Eiffel Tower. Tsutenkaku is located in an area called “Shinsekai” in downtown Osaka that is visited by over a million tourists every year. Enshrined in the 5th floor observation deck is a Billiken statue, which is believed to bring you good luck if you rub the soles of his feet. The round neon sign on the top of the tower indicates the weather forecast using a combination of colors. White means it will be sunny tomorrow.
