SNOWBOARDING

スノーボード[SUNŌ-BŌDO]

In Japan, snowboarding became a popular sport in the 1990s and can be enjoyed in almost all ski resorts across the country. In winter, we now see a lot of snowboarders carrying their boards in airports and bus terminals. I taught my daughter how to ski 15 years ago. She has grown up to be an experienced snowboarder and is in return inspiring me to learn snowboarding at the age of 50. I still have a long way to go, but trying something new is exciting and fun no matter how old you get.
