TAKING A BATH

入浴[NYŪYOKU]

Most Japanese take a bath every day to relax and rejuvenate their minds and bodies. When using a communal bath, such as sento or onsen, you are expected to observe certain rules in consideration for others. Bob understands that users need to wash themselves before entering the bathtub and that it is not ok to swim in it but cannot figure out why people with tattoos are not allowed. For your ease of mind, an increasing number of bath facilities are now accepting tattooed guests so that people of any culture or religion can enjoy onsen.
