    EXPERIENCE JAPAN PICTOGRAMS are a set of pictorial symbols that were developed to support tourism in Japan from a visual design perspective.
    In order to make the PICTOGRAMS usable by as many people and as widely as possible, all the downloadable materials on this website, excluding the text and photos, (hereinafter the “Materials”) are made available for free personal, business, commercial, and non-commercial uses under the Terms of Use.
    You do not need to contact us for permission to use the Materials. However, please note that we may share or post your use of the Materials as reference examples on our website, etc., without advance notice to you.

    The following acts are prohibited when using the Materials:
    • Use of any Materials by altering or modifying their shapes or forms;
    • Redistribution or selling of any Materials in their original forms or of their edited/processed versions;
    • Use of any Materials as part of any logo, trademark, or service mark;
    • Reediting of any animated Materials using video editing software, etc.; and
    • Provision of a direct link to any Materials on this website.
    Use of the Materials is prohibited for purposes that are:

    • Can I embed animated PICTOGRAMS in a commercial video or other media?
    • Yes, you can. However, you are prohibited from reediting the Materials using video editing software, etc.
    • Do I need to contact you before using the Materials?
    • No, you do not need to contact us. However, please note that we may share or post your use of the Materials as reference examples on our website, etc., without advance notice to you.
    • Do I need to provide a link or give credit when I use PICTOGRAMS?
