SUBWAY

地下鉄[CHIKATETSU]

Subway networks are found in major Japanese cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sapporo. The subway network in Tokyo is especially famous for its spider-web-like complexity, which bewilders many international tourists who get lost and call it a “labyrinth.” Subways are full of mysteries for kids, too. They cannot stop wondering, “How did they put the trains underground?” “How are they powered without pantographs on the roof?”
