KIMONO

着物 [KIMONO]

A traditional Japanese garment. Kimono comes in wide varieties of colors, patterns, and materials ranging from inexpensive cotton kimono called yukata worn casually in summer festivals, etc., to high-end luxury kimono worn in formal settings. In Japan, many people wear kimono at coming-of-age ceremonies. Some tourist areas like Kyoto and Asakusa have shops that offer kimono rental for a quick and easy kimono experience, which is becoming very popular among international visitors. When you walk in a kimono, you naturally draw the attention of others and feel like behaving in an elegant manner. A kimono elevates not only the outer appearance but also the inner beauty.
